Mangalore, Nov 11: Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy will hold “Tuluva Uchchaya” a two-day tulu cultural programme at Sunkadakatte, Bajpe on November 13 and 14.

Speaking to mediapersons, Chandrahas Rai B, registrar of academy said that the programme will be inaugurated by Nalin Kumar Kateel, MP while Krishna J Palemar, district in-charge minister will preside.

As a part of the event various cultural programmes like Paddana Gayano-Chitharo, Tulu Nalike Sadangara, Dramas, Tulu Yakshagana “Guddeda Gulike” will be performed.

An interaction programme “Manth” will be witnessed by eminent personalities like Dr Vaman Nandavar, Bhasker Rai Kukkuvalli and Umanath Kotian, he added.

Bhasker Rai Kukkuvalli, Dayanand G Kathalsar, Kishor Kumar and Yogish Kanchan among others were present.

The programme is organized in association with Tulu Uchchaya Samiti, Pambadara Abhyudaya Yuvajana Seva Trust and other local organizations.
