Udupi: Lightning Strikes a House in Kokkarne, Four Injured

Udupi, Nov 12: A house was extensively damaged in the lightning and torrential rain at Kokkarne, near here on Thursday November 11.


 

The lightning bolt destroyed the house of Lacchu Marakala, a resident of Baidabettu in Kokkarne. It also injured him and his family including his daughters Jayanti and Srusti and his son Satvik who are recovering in a hospital.
 
The lightning has broken the roof of the house, destroying the electrical accessories and metre.
