Moodbidri, Nov 14: Anil of Alva’s College, here has won gold medal at the national level inter-varsity body building championship and has bagged the Mr All India Varsity title in a competition held at Kannur University, Kerala, recently.
Anil represented the Mangalore University at the competition. By bagging gold at the 65 kg category, Anil was entitled to the honour for the second consecutive time. He has been trained under Raghavendra of Jenecia Gym, Udupi.
Under 70kg categaory Alva’s College student Sanal Padbanaban has secured first place and brought the second gold medal to Mangalore University.
Alva’s Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva lauded the achievements of winners and all the four participants from the college.
