Mangalore, Jan 20: The eighth annual day celebrations and cultural programmes of Manjunath Friends Circle ® were held at Kadri Hills, Sampigekatte, here on Tuesday January 19.
 

MP Nalin Kumar presided over the programme and conveyed best wishes for the event.
 
MLA U T Khader, Dakshina Kannada youth Congress president Arun Coelho, MLA Abayachandra Jain, BJP city block president Srikar Prabhu, municipal taxation steering committee president Roopa D Bangera and mayor Rajani Dugganna were the chief guests on the occasion.
 
Manjunath Friends Circle ® president Edward D’Souza and other office bearers were present on the dais. 
 
Mayuri Ullal, classical dancer, daughter of Jayant and Sunita Ullal couple and Manohar Prasad, chief reporter of Udayavani, Kannada-daily and Tulu playwright and director Vijay Kumar Kodialbail were felicitated by the chief guests on the same occasion.
 
'Kode Ini Yelle' a Tulu comedy play directed by Vijay Kumar Kodialbail was staged as part of entertainment programmes besides variety cultural programmes.
