Mangalore: City Mayor Inaugurates Physio Week ’11

Mangalore, Jan 21: The Physio Week ‘11 organized by the South Kanara Physiotherapy Teachers’
Association was inaugurated with the Fruit Distribution at Government Wenlock Hospital here on Friday
January 21.

The event was inaugurated by Rajani Duganna, mayor, Mangalore City Corporation. Dr Hansraj Alva, managing director, Vinaya Hospital and Research Centre and Dr P Saroja, DMO, Government Wenlock
Hospital graced the event as the guest of honour. Dr Ranjith Shetty and Dr Raveesh Tunga were present.

The Fruit Distribution was the first event of Physio Week ’11. The Physiotherapy students of various
colleges in and around the city came together and participated in the evnt and distributed the fruits to
the patients of Government Wenlock Hospital.

The fruits were also distributed in old age homes such as The Little Sister’s of the Poor, Nantoor, St
Ann’s Old Age Home, Capitanio, Abhaya Ashrama Konaje and in orphanage centres Yateem Khana.
