Mangalore, Jan 25: The teams of St Aloysius College (SAC) and Tippu Sultan College, Ullal, reached the final in the late Benjamin D’Souza Memorial Inter-collegiate League football tournament held here on Monday January 24. The tournament was organized under the aegis of Dakshina Kannada District Football Association.

The final between SAC and Tippu Sultan College will be held here on Tuesday January 25 at 4.30 pm.

SAC defeated P A College 3–2 in the semi-final while Tippu Sultan defeated St Philomena College, Puttur, 1–0 to reach the final.

The closing ceremony of football tourney will be held at Nehru maidan, football ground on Tuesday January 25 evening.

Eagle Electricals proprietor K Laxman Shetty, B A Group managing director B Abdul Salam, Rosario High School headmaster Aloysius D’Souza, and Mangalore University assistant physical director Santhosh D’Souza, will be the guests of honour on the occasion.
