Mangalore, Jan 31: Abdul Aziz, a city corporator representing Kudroly ward, and 13 others, are facing charges of fabricating land records and usurping of a landed property on the basis of these records.
The policemen have registered a case against 14 persons including Aziz, as per the orders issued by the second chief judicial magistrate, who examined a private complaint filed by V M Riaz from Kudroly.
Venkatesh N Rao, M K Hanif, Sahul, Nawaz, Chelly, Kalia, in addition to the said corporator and seven other individuals, have been named in the complaint. The complainant has claimed that one of the persons named is fake. The dispute relates to a land and building in Kandatpalli Kudroly, which allegedly belongs to Rashida Munawar.
