Uppinangady: Car - Private Bus Mishap Claims One Life

Uppinangady, Jan 31:
An Indica car moving from Bangalore to Mangalore hit a private bus bound to Uppinangady from Mangalore killing a person and injuring two more. The accident took place at Karavelu about 5 k.m away from Uppinangady on Monday January 31.

The deceased has been identified as Krishnamoorthy (60). He died on the spot. His wife Jayashree (54) and car driver Krishna (34) have sustained serious injuries. Sources said that local people struggled for an hour to remove them from the completely damaged car and admitted them to A J hospital in Mangalore. Traffic movement was disrupted for an hour.
 
Krishnamoorthy was the retired AGM of Campco Chocolate factory. He has  residents at Bangalore and in Attavara at Mangalore. He was coming to his Attavar resident when this tragic accident took place. A case has been registered in Puttur traffic police station.

    SEEMS STRANGE... GUESS THERES A BIT OF MISTAKE IN THE NEWS ... AS FAR AS THE PICS ARE CONCERENED I FEEL THE DRIVER HAS DIED... AND HE DOESNT LOOK 60 YEARS OLD... JUST A VISUAL PROVES THE NEWS CRANKY...
