Udupi, Feb 1: Prakash Padubidri (41), young entrepreneur, Tulu cine actor, and amateur theatre artiste from Padubidri in the district, breathed his last on Monday January 31 due to illness. He was being treated in a hospital in Mangalore since the last several days. He is survived by parents, a sister and two brothers.

Prakash’s able depiction of roles in a few Tulu films including ‘Koti Chennaya’, had made him very popular in the region. He had also acted in several Tulu plays, and got appreciation for his talent. He was a good organizer, and had worked for a number of organizations in and around Padubidri.

A number of theatre personalities and others from the district have mourned the untimely death of Prakash Padubidri.
