Mangalore, Mar 9: St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology (AIMIT) is a premier institute that comes under the umbrella of St Aloysius College. AIMIT is a member of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutions), India which has prestigious B-Schools like XLRI and XIMB and also a member of IJABS (International Jesuit Association of Business Schools). It is already ranked among the best 100 B-Schools in India and it aims to become one among the top ten B-Schools in the coming years.

The National Conference on Talent Management: Challenges to HRM to be held at the AIMIT Campus Auditorium, in Kotekar-Beeri, Mangalore onFriday March 11 and Saturday March 12 will indeed accentuate Talent Management as the key to survival and sustainable competitive advantage in the fiercely competitive market of this globalized era.

The inauguration ceremony of the conference will be presided over by chief guest and keynore addressor MahalingamMali, executive vice-president and Global Chief People Officer, Symphony Services
Corporation, Bangalore, former VP, HR for India, South Asia, IBM. The president of the
inauguration ceremony will be SAC principal Fr Swebert D’Silva.

The theme of the conference will be centered around the topics such as Innovative Talent Management Practices, highlighting Learning, Measuring talent and Importance of Talent Management and Talent Management and Technology Interface, Challenges to Talent Management which emphasizes the challenge of Talent management in IT and service and the competence of HR managers to become CEOs, The Role of Talent Management will bring out the role of Talent Management in Business turnaround management, Transformation Management and building capabilities to increase return on human capital and drive growth, and Industry Best Practices which will evaluate Talent Management in the global context and stress on the role of an HR leader in Talent Management and the integration of workforce diversity.

Papers are invited on any of the sub themes of the Conference from the faculty members, research
scholars and practitioners and the papers short listed will be presented by the respective authors.

Day two of the conference will witness the presence of Experts from the Industry and showcase a Panel Discussion on “Talent Management: Challenges to HRM.
