Mangaluru, Jun 11: The celebration of the titular feast of St Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu which commenced on May 31, will conclude on June 13.

The celebrations began on May 31 at 10:30 am with Novena followed by Eucharistic celebration at the Ashram. Mass is celebrated twice during the Novena days at 11:30 am in the Ashram and 6:00 pm at the Church of our Lady of Milagres. Priests of the deanery celebrate the Mass and lead the laity in the Novena.

The festive Mass in honour of St Anthony will be celebrated on June 13. On that day, there will be four Masses, Konkani Mass at 8.15 am at Milagres Church and at 11.00 am at St Antony Ashram, Jeppu, at 4.00 pm Malayalam Mass at Milagres Church and solemn festive Mass will be at 6.00 pm at Milagres Church.

Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha will celebrate the solemn Mass. The inauguration of the post centenary silver jubilee celebration of SACI will be held.
