Udupi, Jun 12: Dr Brayal D'Souza, assistant professor at Prasanna School of Public Health and Quality Management representative of Kasturba Hospital has been awarded PhD for her thesis from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. 
 
Dr Brayal D'Souza is also a representative of Kasturba Hospital. Manipal as a quality management representative.
 
 
 
She submitted a thesis on the subject "Effectiveness of Modular Educational Intervention on Patient Outcome Among Maintenance Haemodialysis Patients of Coastal Karnataka - A Randomised Control trail."
 
She did her research under the guidance of Dr B Unnikrishnan, dean, Kasturba Medical College, Mangaluru and Dr Ravindra Prabhu, professor and unit head, Department of Nephrology, Kasturba Medical College Manipal.
