Udupi, Jun 15: Ivan D’Souza, resident of Shirva bagged gold medal in the state level power lifting championship that was held at Mysuru recently. He is selected for national championship.
Ivan, who is 19 years of age, got the gold medal in the sub junior category. He is a student of second PU in the commerce branch of Shirva St Mary’s college.
Ivan is getting trained at Dream Gym of Shirva and bagged gold medal in his first competition itself. Villagers of Shirva and administrative committee of the college congratulated Ivan on his stellar achievement.
Ivan is the son of Ronald D’Souza and Prameela D’Souza couple, residents of Shirva.
