Mangaluru, Jun 15: Pathway Road to Success enterprises, Mercy Beauty Academy and Saloon together held Mrs India Karnataka Mangaluru competitions at the Nexus Mall (Fiza Mall), Mangaluru on Sunday June 12. Mumbai based Dr Prabha N P Suvarna hailing from Mangaluru’s Tulu soil was declared the winner in Season 3 finale.

The grand event was held under the aegis of Geetanjali Silks Udupi, Lions International Mangaluru, Kaveri, Karnataka Bank, Sarvaloda, JCI Mangaluru and Impact. Programme organizer, Miss India Asia Pacific International South director Pratibha Samshimath and the elite presented the crown, conferred Mrs India Karnataka Mangaluru title and congratulated Dr Prabha.

Prabha Suvarna, author and poet has been residing in Mumbai since the last four and a half decades. Being multi-talented, she has been serving in educational and social sectors through female oriented organizations. She was born in Mangaluru, raised in Mumbai and has retired as the senior officer in Reserve Bank of India. She has served as the divisional president of Mumbai’s Youngmen’s Education society and Billava Jagruti Balaga. She has been serving at the Association for Masomi Ladies organization for last few years and was its president for some time. Universal development council of the government of India (NITI Ayog) has awarded her honorary doctorate recognizing her social work and multiple talents.
