Kundapur, Mar 16: The students of Kundapur First Grade College located in Koteshwar near here, boycotted classes on Tuesday March 15, to pressurize the authorities to unravel the truth behind the mysterious suicide of Sampavati (19), a first year degree student of the college, recently.

“The girl had very good conduct and was very studious. Before she committed suicide all of a sudden, she had received a call on her mobile phone. The policemen should make all out efforts to find the real reason behind her suicide,” the students demanded in a memorandum handed over to the college principal.

In the meanwhile, Kota station police sub-inspector, Mahesh Prasad, promised that the department will undertake comprehensive investigation into the suicide of the above student, from all angles.

    It is really very sad, nowadays youngseters they do not understand any type of tentions problems solution is only suicide, please lets put our childrens mind from the very young age that commiting suicide is a sin and not a solution any problems doesn't matter whatever it is there is a solution and its not a end, i hope and pray that all children grow up with god fearing and to learn to live challenging life not ending everything with "suicide"

    It is distressing to see so many young people committing suicide these days. It is expedient that causes for these mysterious deaths should be properly investigated.

    It is imperative that on the part of the teaching institutions to have regular counseling sessions to help the students to prioritize studies rather than get involved in areas there are not supposed to.

    Hope the authorities take adequate care to ensure that proper action in the direct direction is taken.
