Puttur, Mar 21: A person named Raju (33) committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree inside the compound of his home in Urlandy in the town on Sunday March 20. Raju, a native of Kushalnagar, used to stay with his in-laws here, since some time.
In a complaint filed with the police station here, his wife said that she disagrees with the suicide theory, pointing out that the toes of the man were touching the land when his body was found.
The officials of the town police station have registered this death as suicide. They have undertaken further investigation.
