Mangalore: Beary Sahitya Academy Honorary Awards on March 27

Mangalore, Mar 22: A function to hand over honorary awards of Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy will be held at Town Hall here at 4 pm on March 27.

Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister, Krishna J Palemar, will hand over the awards. Udupi district Kannada Sahitya Parishat president, Ambatanaya Mudradi, will preside over the programme.

Assembly deputy speaker, N Yogish Bhat, MLA, U T Khader, and litterateur, Dr Taltaje Vasant Kumar, will participate as chief guests, a release from the academy said.
