Udupi, Jul 9: A flood like situation persists on the way to Amarnath temple after cloudburst on Friday July 8. Therefore, the Amarnath pilgrimage has been suspended for the time being.

Relatives of the pilgrims who are stranded or are safe have been advised by deputy commissioner Kurma Rao on July 9 to contact toll free No. 1077 of the Udupi district administration for details.
