Bantwal: Water level in Netravati river rises to 7.4 metres

Bantwal, Jul 9: The level of water in Netravati river has gone up to 7.4 meters. the danger mark is 8.5 metres. The level had come down to 6.3 metres on Saturday. However the river started swelling as the evening approached. It is said that the level may go up much high in the night.

It is raining heavily in Western Ghat areas and the level of water has gone up in the river at Uppinangady also.
