Udupi, Mar 24: Mother Teresa Stree Sanghatan of St Francis Xavier parish, Udyavar, here celebrated the International Women’s Day here, recently.
Udyavar parish priest Fr Charles Noronha presided over the function.
Veronica Cornelio was the chief guest of the occasion.
Udyavar parish council vice president Lawrence D’Sa, secretary John D’Souza, Irene Pereira, Fr Anil Almeida and Fr William Martis were present at the dais.
Four members of the Sangatan were honoured for completing 50 years of successful married life.
The members enacted a skit to entertain the audience.
Mother Theresa Stree Sangatan president Hazel D’Lima welcomed the gathering. Gracy Machado proposed vote of thanks. Shantha Fernandes compered the programme.
