Karkala: Police raid illegal slaughterhouse – one arrested, beef, cattle, vehicle confiscated

Karkala, Jul 11: The city police raided an illegal slaughterhouse that was functioning near Sanur rivulet on the night of July 8. They arrested one person while two managed to escape.

Police confiscated 27 kg of beef, two cows and one Tata Ace goods tempo.

The raid was carried out by PSI Prasanna Kumar, officer Damodar and another personnel based on a definite tip off.

Abdul Rehman Farooq, Sharif and Razak were involved in the illegal act. While police arrested Abdul, Razak and Sharif managed to run away.
