Puttur: Arrogance of traders - Garbage collection stopped under Uppinangady GP limits

Puttur, Jul 14: Garbage handling is stopped from some days under the limits of Uppinangady gram panchayat limits. The whole locality is filled with stench.

For the past four years, waste management was handled under the leadership of Sri Ramakrishna Ashram of Mangaluru. However, they stopped coming for collection of garbage as some shop owners behaved in arrogant manner with them.

Responding on the issue, Ushachandra Muliya, member of gram panchayat said that the issue will be resolved soon.
