Mangaluru, Jul 14: According to the direction of Excise joint commissioner (Enforcement and investigation), Mangaluru division, T Nagarajappa and deputy commissioner of excise, DK district Bindushree P and guidance of Vinod Kumar, excise superintendent, under the leadership of Syed Tafzil Ullah, team of excise inspectors Seema Suvaris, deputy excise inspector Shankar K and personnel Santhosh Kumar, Sunil, Kumar R Neelanaik and Sandeep Kumar raided various places under the limits of South zone-1 limits on July 13.
They were arrested from Lalbagh, Hathill, Statebank and Bunder.
The team of excise officials arrested college students who were produced to court and later released on bail.
