Udupi, Jul 14: The union ministry of labour and employment has sanctioned 23 ESI hospitals in the country including a 100 bed hospital at Udupi.

An ESI hospital in Udupi was a several years' demand of people. Union minister of labour and employment Bhupendra Yadav and union minister of state for agriculture and farmer’s welfare Shobha Karandlaje who took the initiative in this connection have been thanked.
