Mangaluru: Lilly Pais elected district president for Karnataka State Physical Teachers’ Association

Mangaluru, Aug 2: Lilly Pais was elected as the district president for Karnataka State Physical Teachers’ Association.

Lilly is working as physical training teacher at government high school, Attavar.

She is known for her social work and capacity of organising people for various social activities. She had also won the district best teacher award in 2018.

The general body meeting of Dakshina Kannada unit of Karnataka state physical education teachers’ association took place at zilla panchayat auditorium recently. The meeting was presided over by Shivaram Yenekal, president of the district committee. New office bearers were elected during the meeting.

Other office bearers are honorary president K H Nayak, executive president Mamacchan M, Kadaba, chief secretary Harish Rai Mangaluru, treasurer Tyagama Harekala, senior vice president Yogeish Panja, vice presidents Monappa Patte, Jagadish Rai Thumbe, Suresh Shetty Mangaluru, K T Laxmi Kadaba, Ajith Kumar Beltangady, joint secretaries Ganesh Kulal, Chinnappa Bantwal, Udaya Moodbidri, organizing secretaries Vinod Kumar Soorinje, Naveen Puthran Moodbidri, Srilatha Puttur, Abdul Sammad Kadaba, Hariprasad Sullia, sports secretaries Gunapala Beltangady, Damodara Puttur, cultural secretaries Alice Pais, Pushpa Bellare, Press secretary Nagesh Moodbidri, Internal auditor Lancy Sequeira and one nominated members from each taluk were selected.
