Bantwal, Apr 5: Brahmakalashotsav - religious celebrations will be held at Mittamajalu temple, Sajipamooda in Bantwal taluk here from Wednesday April 6 to Friday April 8.

Various religious celebrations including puja and Vedic rituals will be held at Mittamajalu temple, Sajipamooda on Wednesday April 6 evening.

The inaugural ceremony of copper coated temple flag-hoisting pole that was donated by Mulund Bunts president Nagriguttu Vivek Rai will be inaugurated on Friday April 8.  Brahmashree Ucchintaya Nileshwar Padmanabha Tantri, Sajipamooda temple celebrant K Suryanarayan Tantri will perform various Vedic rites at the occasion.

Mangalore-based A J Shetty Group chairman A J Shetty will preside over the religious programme on Friday morning.

Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will be the chief guest of the occasion.

Bunts Sangh – Mumbai president Aikala Harish Shetty, Karnataka former minister and Coastal Development Authority chairman Nagaraj Shetty, Moodbidri MLA K Abhayachandra Jain, former MP Vinay Kumar Sorake, Popular Education Trust president Maravoor Jagdish C Shetty will be the guests of honour, informed Barangara Sadanand Poonja, overseer of temple development.
