Karkala: Driver killed after tipper unloading stones topples

Karkala, Aug 3: A tipper driver dies after falling while he was unloading stones from the vehicle. The incident was reported on Tuesday August 2.

The deceased is identified as Asif.

The incident was reported at Om Crusher in Sooda here. The crusher belonging to Suresh Shetty is on lease with Basith from Kerala. Asif who was unloading stones at around 2.30 pm in the crusher, fell along with the tipper. An injured Asif was taken to a private hospital. The hospital authorities declared him dead on arrival.

A case has been registered at Karkala rural police station.
