On the one hand the government is promoting egg consumption by asking government schools to provide free daily eggs in their meal when in school, and on the other it is saying eggs are not healthy. If eggs are consumed on a daily basis, indeed that would be unhealthy as it would be bad for cholesterol - and lead to heart disease. If children are habituated to eat eggs daily, it would become staplel for the rest of their life which may be shortened because of bad cholsesterol.... May be the government provide a balance diet; alternate eggs with fruits like apple, banana, shantra, etc.
