Mangalore, Apr 8: TV9 and News 9 television channels have launched a campaign titled ‘TV9 News9 Samara’ against corruption encompassing all sections of the society.
The campaign, being held in various parts of the state, supports the agitation launched by Anna Hazare, and demands early tabling of the Lok Pal bill on the lines demanded by this renowned social activist. The campaign was held in the city too, and a large number of people and organizations have been pledging support to it.
It is gathered that several institutions and associations apart from individuals, will join the campaign being held at Gandhi Park near Town Hall in the city, later in the day.
