John Buchanan

John Buchanan was an Australian cricket coach who coached the Australian national team from 1999 to 2007. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricket coaches of all time. Under Buchanan, the Australian team won the 1999 Cricket World Cup, the 2003 Cricket World Cup, 2007 Cricket World Cup and the 2004–05 Ashes series. Buchanan also coached the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League from 2008 to 2010.

Buchanan was born in Ipswich, Queensland, and played cricket for Toowoomba Souths in the Darling Downs competition. He also played first-class cricket for Queensland from 1974 to 1980. Buchanan retired from playing cricket in 1980, and became a teacher. He later became a coach, and coached Queensland to victory in the Sheffield Shield in 1994–95.

Gary Kirsten

Darren Lehmann

Darren Lehmann is widely regarded as one of the most noteworthy cricket coaches of all time. He was the head coach of Australian national team from 2013 to 2018. Under his tutelage, the Australian team have won three Ashes series and 2015 Cricket World Cup. During his playing career, Lehmann represented Australia, South Australia and Yorkshire. He batted left-handed and occasionally bowled right-arm off-spin. He retired from playing in 2007 following a diagnosis of chronic myeloid leukemia. 

Lehmann has coached at all levels of cricket, including stints with the Australian Under-19 team and the South Australian Redbacks. He was appointed head coach of the Deccan Chargers in 2012 and led the team to victory in the 2013 Indian Premier League.

Duncan Fletcher
