Pathetic indeed. Drinking sewage contaminated water is very hazardous to health and can cause serious gastrintestinal ailments; people should be made aware of this that they should atleast boil the water before drinking!!

This public health hazard story is in the news since a long time but no steps have been taken to ameliorate it, only mouth talking! I wonder how people in the vicinity are able to stay with the filthy fumes in the air day and night? Still some people are buying property in and around the place; on what basis I don't understand!

Collection of waste is fine but management of collected waste is an important task... Already plastics are burnt and damage to the environment is done... People at public posts are mainly after name, fame and gains... Mayor gives a flimsy statement and chapter closed... Are we doing our responsibilities enough???... Waste collected must be segregated on timely basis and hazardous/combustible items must be disposed of to neutrality quickly... I wonder if solar or hydrogen powered incinerators be a good thing to invent...
