Mangaluru: Srinivas University holds career guidance programme

Mangaluru, Aug 21: With the blessing of A Shama Rao, the university's founder, and under the direction of Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, chancellor of Srinivas University, and Dr A Srinivas Rao, pro chancellor of Srinivas University, a career guidance programme was held on August 19 by the department of digital and cyber forensic science in seminar Hall, Srinivas University Mukka campus.

Prof Mohit S Yadav, a lecturer and PhD scholar at the Yenopoya Deemed to be University in Mangaluru, was the chief guest for the event. Dignitaries present on the dais were Dr Beena HB and Prof Pavana Krishnamoorty, deans of IAHS at Srinivas University, Bharadwaj M, course coordinator, department of digital and cyber forensics, IAHS. The special guest of the programme was Prof Shwetha Pai, training and placement officer. The presidential address was given by Dr Beena H B, dean of IAHS, Srinivas University pointing out the importance of career building and new technologies.

The programme started with a prayer followed by a lamp lighting ceremony by the dignitaries. The chief guest, Prof Mohit S Yadav, addressed the gathering by enriching the knowledge of various opportunities in the field of cyber forensics as well as the steps that should be done going forward to have a prosperous career. After the class, Prof Shwetha Pai addressed the students with her insightful motivating words that inspired them.

The programme was organised by the course coordinator Bharadwaj M, department of digital and cyber forensics and the faculties Ayshath Safwana, Praveena Prabhakaran, Sarath M S and Fathima Shabana with immense support of students.
