Udupi: Nejaru Murder Case - Accused Praveen's judicial custody extended again

Udupi, Dec 18: The Chief Civil Judge of Udupi and the JMFC Court today ordered the extension of the judicial custody of Praveen Chowgule (39), arrested in the Nejaru murder case of four members of the same family, till December 30.

On December 5, the court had extended the judicial custody of the accused till December 18. After the judicial custody period ended today, the accused in Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru was produced before Judge Deepa through video conferencing.

 

The judge once again extended the period of judicial custody for the accused and ordered him to appear on December 30. Senior assistant public prosecutor H M Nadaf was present on this occasion.

    This will happen to the similar case of Gopal. Shetty murder in udupi in 2016. Now his wife and son are out in bail and no news of that case. So one fine day this praveen also will be out in bail and roam freely and will find a nother prey to enjoy and later if refused he will murder her too. This is our so called India,

    Crime happened in Udupi. Just wondering why is he in Bangalore Jail produced through video conference. I guess, powers that be are protecting him from risks of physically bringing him to Udupi courts.

    Why can't the judge deny him bail outright and hold him in jail till the final verdict. This once in 15 days court appearance is a waste of time for everyone concerned. This devil no way deserves to get bail and roam free.

    Initially there was doubt about his property. Later big big smugglers must have intervened He confessed his mistake and enough evidence is also there then for whom they are waiting. Throw him in jail Give him maximum punishment. Anyway he lost his job Now only one option for him to join politics and roam freely In India nothing happens to criminals
