Mangaluru, Oct 3: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at St Theresa's School, Bendur, with a special assembly organized by the primary students. The event began with a prayer for peace and unity, followed by the lighting of the diya, symbolizing truth and non-violence.

Principal Sr Lourdes, teachers, and students paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi with flower petals.

The celebration included speeches on Gandhi's contributions, a wishing song promoting peace, and an address by the principal encouraging Gandhian values. The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem, reflecting Gandhi's spirit of unity and patriotism.
