Mangaluru, Apr 29: In yet another case of stabbing in the limits of Ullal police station, a youth was attacked by a group at TC Road, Thokkottu here on Friday April 29.

Dhanraj (25), who works as a chit fund collector, was stabbed by six unidentified persons on Friday evening.

It is learnt Dhanraj was riding from Ullal to Thokkottu when six persons waylaid him at Thokkottu, attacked him with sharp weapons and escaped before anyone could catch hold of them.

The locals who were at the spot rushed Dhanraj to hospital.

Sources said that the backpack that Dhanraj was wearing saved him from grave injuries.

Ullal police have registered a case.

The attack took place despite the fact that Section 144 has been imposed in Ullal police limits and other stations under Mangaluru police commissionerate till 6 pm on April 30.

Communal thugs who have the habit of stone throwing and stabbing at their will must be controlled. the bigots will do all kinds of communinal acts and as the day progress, they claim to be most peace loving people in the world.

Openly communal are one kind of social problem, but the bigger problem is the Hippocrates with all political support do criminal act and then suddenly turn peace lovers in front of camera.. Law must be dealt severely on all communal elements without bias

First ban all lunatic fanatic damage causing fundamentalist organisations. ... Most youth are employed by them! !! But no use in nation building .... youths can easily get attracted to outdated bigoted ideologies... easy to brain wash young minds bcz they do not have the experience to judge what is good and what is bad .... They just obey passion n adrenaline.

Police and Home department of the state should take responsibility for maintaining law and order
If Hindu or Muslim Communal elements are responsible identify them and put behind bars
If any leader of either community you feel as motivator of crime meet them in person and explain not to indulge in such malafide motivation and there is a special provision called Telegraph and Telephone act in which Govt can intercept their phone calls and find out as to any of the leaders involved in motivation If found then put them also behind bars .Lot of things the Govt of Karnataka can do .Then the question is it beyond limit ? Then take assistance from Special central agencies and forces .Mere blame game will not work any more .People have lost patience .

When ever such incidents happen it is best to deploy CRF and who ever caught and doing all these evil things need to be treated with FIVE STAR corporal punishment by CRF. Once this is done then let them treat as per law. Hope this will really work well. The only one thing is NO Political influence interference. If that happens then all things will go in garbage.

    Ms. Rita,
This goons are shameless everyone knows.

But in Karnataka day by day Law & order going out of control.

Don't you feel shame on Siddaramayya government??

Such people are taking advantage of the situation. If there is no strict punishment, people won't bother.
