New Delhi, Aug 18 (IANS): It was a sunny morning here on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
The Met has predicted light rains.
"It will be a partly cloudy sky with light rains/thundershowers likely to occur towards the evening/night," an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, he said.
Humidity at 8.30. a.m. was 65 per cent.
Maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 37.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average and the minimum temperature settled at 29.2, three notches above the season's average.
