Federation is in its 11th year of existence. 14 Konkani associations have already been affiliated to the Federation and many more are in a process of affiliating to the Federation. Main aim of the Federation is, to unite all the Konkani Catholics, bring political awareness and fight for social justice. Last year FKCA had launched a housing project, free placement service and Matrimonial cell.
An Entrepreneurs meet had been organised to bring them together with the objective of forming a body to promote and nurture Entrepreneurship. Federation has recently launched its own website to bring all the Konkani Catholics together (www.fkca.net). Federation is now aiming to bring together all the Konkani Catholic Associations situated outside India as its associate members. This is likely to give a new dimension to the already launched Placement and Matrimonial services along with other possible mutual co-operations.
