He was addressing the gathering at the grand Iftar get-together at India Social and Cultural Centre (ISC), organized by Abu Dhabi chapter of 'Sahebaan', a premier social group representing Urdu speaking Muslim community from the twin districts of Mangaluru and Udupi.
He also highlighted the initiatives of 'Sahebaan' such as creation of help desks in Mangaluru and Udupi for the benefit of returning NRIs and those with India-centric plans and education counselling and career.
The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, by a Moulana from Dakshina Kannada.
The event was well attended by distinguished guests from Karnataka NRI community from Dubai, Sharjah and other emirates and was fully packed. 'Sahebaan' and Beary community’s prominent personalities were present at the event.
