Udupi: KMC doctor injured in collision between tipper, car

Udupi, Nov 11: In an unfortunate incident which occurred on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 11, a tipper collided with a car near Green Park Central School in Hiriadka, Udupi.

The victim of the incident happens to be Dr Vijaykumar who is employed at KMC and works in the Emergency medicine department. He was heading to Karkala from Hiriadka.

As per reports, Dr Vijaykumar has been seriously injured and is being treated at KMC hospital in Manipal.

The driver of the tipper has been identified as Shoukath Ali who was coming from Bailoor, Karkala to Hiriadka, Udupi.

A police complaint is also registered against the driver of the tipper Shoukath Ali. The accident took place in the Hiriadka police station limits.
