Bantwal, Dec 1: MLA Rajesh Nayak has appealed to the citizens to make good use of the opportunity to meet government officials of departments and people's representatives at the Janaspandana programme.
Participating at a Janaspandana programme near the Polali temple at the Sarvamangala Auditorium held under the auspices of the Munooru Grama Panchayat, he saId the officials have come to doorsteps of the citizens to expedite clearance of files that are pending or stuck in litigations.
He directed the government officials to clear the files and mitigate citizens' woes without any delay.
In the programme, 362 persons benefited due to delivery of services from the departments.
Tahsildar Smitha Ramu said it is possible to resolve the problems of the citizens by having an open discussion between the officials, people's representatives and the citizens.
Kariyangala GP chairman Chandrahasa Pallipadi said Janaspandana programme is a novel one that is a link between the common people and the government adding that such programmes should be held at least once a year.
Ammunje GP chairman Vamana Acharya, Ammatadi GP chairperson Mohini Nayak, Badagabelluru GP chairman Prakash, Kallige GP chairperson Yashoda, taluk health officer Dr Ashok, GP engineer Taranath, KSRTC depot manager Sriyas Bhat, PWD engineer Jayaprakash, Bantwal zonal forest officer Rajesh Baligar, SI Sanjeev of rural crime branch, Mescom official Narayana Bhat, Backward Community Department officer Bindiya, and official from Agriculture department, Horticulture department officer Pradeep DSouza, labour department officer Marlin DSouza, PDO Malini, ACDPO Sheelavathi, agriculture officer Veena and taluk-level officials were also present.
