Udupi: Pramod Madhwaraj practices opportunistic politics to grab BJP ticket - Ramesh Kanchan

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Dec 27: “Pramod Madhwaraj, who once said that NAMO means ‘Namage Mosa’ (cheating us) is doing opportunistic politics today against his conscience in order to secure BJP ticket,” said Ramesh Kanchan, president of Udupi block Congress.

Kanchan further said, “Though Pramod was rated as Numero Uno MLA in the survey of a private newspaper, he was defeated by BJP workers. He gave statement that he is not worried and he is defeated in order to strengthen the hands of Modi. These words reflect his opportunistic politics.

“Congress party gave Pramod Madhwaraj five times opportunity to contest in elections. Though he was defeated many times, Congress party did not ditch him. In 2013, when Pramod won the assembly elections, he was made parliamentary secretary of revenue department, minister and later cabinet minister in order to make him grow. This was possible due to the relentless work put in by the senior and junior leaders of Congress and party workers. But he did not inform or discuss with anyone and joined BJP deserting the Congress party. After he has joined BJP, he is continuously criticising the Congress party.

“Now Pramod is trying to find a place for him in BJP. That is why he is appeasing the BJP leaders and party workers. But people have understood his opportunistic politics and they will give him fitting answer in coming days," he said.

Go and workout in Ajjarkad govt gym sanctioned by Pramod, you will also vote for him. Even in MH there is no such gym. Finally one has to take a call between development and vote bank. In dynastic rule only vote bank has prospered, precious govt land sanctioned and allowed to be gulped down
