Mumbai, May 28(PTI) Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar will lend her voice to the title track of upcoming Hindi film "Maaee", in which her sister Asha Bhosale is playing a lead role.
"Didi has agreed to sing the title track...I am very happy," said Asha.
The title track will be recorded soon, sources said, adding the shooting is almost complete.
The film is directed by Mahesh Kodiyal and also stars Padmini Kolhapure, who plays Asha's daughter in the film.
The story revolves around a woman -- Maaee -- who was abandoned by her son and was living with her daughter.
