Music Shows are TRP Hungry: Sonu Nigam

Mumbai, May 28 (PTI) Playback singer Sonu Nigam, who returns as a judge for a singing reality show after a gap of almost six years, says he does not trust music shows as they are TRP hungry and was apprehensive about 'X-factor' as well.

"I was apprehensive first about the show because I don't trust music shows. I feel they all go to that TRP route where they manipulate the reactions and situations. I have done enough in my life and I am not in a position today where I want to waste my time and worth with petty little issues, quarrels...fights and negativity. Music is too pure for me and I don't want to dilute it," Sonu told PTI in an interview.

Sonu will now be seen judging the Indian version of the singing reality show 'X Factor' alongside filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and singer Shreya Ghoshal.
