When Ashish Became Gorilla!

New Delhi, Jun 2 (IANS): Actor Ashish Chowdhry's role in "Double Dhamaal" not just required him to slip into the garb of a woman, but also that of a gorilla.

He says the costume, which was originally used in Hollywood film "Planet of the Apes", stank a lot!

"On the plus side, I got a chance to slip into a 'Planet of the Apes' costume. On the downside, it stank to high heaven," said Ashish.

The actor was quite disgusted with the smell from the costume.

"It (the costume) can't be dry-cleaned. I don't know how many others got into it and sweated buckets inside it," he quipped.

Directed by Indra Kumar, the laugh riot will release June 24.

Sandflies make Kay Kay Menon go red

Actor Kay Kay Menon had a tough time during the second schedule of "Bheja Fry 2" in Bintan island of Indonesia as sandflies bit him all over his body - leaving him red!

On the second day of the shoot, the actor woke up with red spots all over his legs, back, neck and even face. He was sent back to his hotel room to take a bath because he was feeling extremely itchy, and bottles of antiseptic liquid were provided to him, says a source.

When the local line producer from Indonesia was informed about Kay Kay's condition, he advised that the cast and crew must apply 'autaan', a local sandflies repellent before stepping out everyday.

"Bheja Fry 2", a sequel to the 2007 hit comedy "Bheja Fry", will release July 15.
