Ramdev has Got Political Agenda, I Won't Support him: Shah Rukh

Indore, Jun 2 (PTI): Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday said that Baba Ramdev's proposed hunger strike against corruption and repatriation of black money stashed in foreign banks, is politically motivated and he would not support the agitation.

"Koi support nahin karunga...unka agenda hai...jaise hi koi neta ho jata hai...voh yeh sab karne lagata hai (I will not support him...he's got an agenda...as soon one becomes a leader...he resorts to such kind of agitation)," Shah Rukh told reporters at the release of a theatrical trailer of his upcoming flick " Ra.One".

"Jo jiska kam ho, usko voh karna chahiye..agar koi neta ban kar karna chahta hai to that is not the right way to raise an issue (One should do what is appropriate for him or her. If anyone is trying to slip into shoes of a politician then that is not the right way to do it.)," he said appealing to youths not to fall prey to corruption.

In the background of the 2G scam and related issues, the actor said current instances of corruption in public life have saddened him.

When asked whether he wanted to become a politician, Shah Rukh denied it, saying: "Why do you think I am joining politics, why don't you imagine a neta joining film industry?

"I am a selfish person who wants to be admired by his fans and well-wishers in bollywood and in public at large," he said adding he does not understand politics.

    I also share what SRK inked beyond doubt.He openly propagated creating a political party.It is the same BABA RAMDEV who advocated not to include PM under the preview of Janlokpal Bill !! Therefore going for fast indefinitely for the issue of black money to be retrieved from foreign countries is more calculated and deliberated for his own good rather than masses.

    Totally agree with you SRK. It is politically motivated.He would be better of teaching yoga, and not being a leader.He probably checking how much support he has, so that he can join politics.

    First RAMDEV should be checked properly by LOK AUKTA. I heard that this person has got Crores in his Bank Accounts. Why no one is investgating this. Ramdev is behind UPA Government. Because he is planning to go on Fast that does not mean Ramdev is a clean person. He acts like a Mental person. Kachra person. So these people before they point out fingers on others should be investigated properly. Now Ramdev to divert the mind of public is doing all this so that no one will investigate him. When you see this character he looks like a CULPRIT. These are all BJP Agents. BJP is behind the whole scene. Both this Ramdev and Anna Hazare should be driven out of the country who are creating nuiecense in India.

    I AGREE WITH SHARUK KHAN WHAT HE SAYS IS CORRECT. RAMDEV'S FASTING IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED. BJP HAS PLAYED A CRUCIAL ROLE IN THIS MATTER. BJP COULD NOT DEFEND UPA GOVERNMENT IN ANY MATTER EVEN THOUGH BJP TRIED VERY MUCH. SO THEY HAVE PUT THE YOGA GURU RAMDEV IN THE PICTURE. YOGA GURU RAMDEV JOB IS TO TEACH YOGA AND TO CONCENTRATE ON THAT. RAMDEV SHOULD NOT INTERFERE IN POLITICS. THIS FOOLISH RAMDEV IS JUST MAKING A FOOL OF HIMSELF BY TRYING TO DISTABLISE UPA GOVERNMENT FOR HIS SELFISH ENDS. BJP HAS BRIBED THIS RAMDEV TO GO AGAGINST UPA. THIS MAN HAS GONE OUT OF HIS SENSES AND TALKS ALL NONSENCE. IF THIS RAMDEV HAS TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS IN BRINGIG BACK THE BLACK MONEY FROM SWISS BANKS, THEN WE NEED NOT HAVE A SC. FIRST OF ALL WHO IS THIS CRAZY PERSON. RAMDEV IS THINKING AS HE IS THE SC CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA. RAMDEV SHOULD MIND HIS OWN BUSINESS AND NOT TRY TO ACT SMART. SHARUKH IS RIGHT. 100% THIS IS POLITICALLY MOTIVATED.

    Mr.Shah Ruk Khan you are not a so important person for Indians so that tbey will heed your request. Baba Ramdev is not starting his campaign newly. He is the only person who advocates spiritual Bharat rather than secular India which created present day maladies! It is better you confine your openions to cinema actings only!
