Bengaluru: Public exams for fifth, eighth grade – Time table announced

Bengaluru, Feb 24: The education department has published the time table of public exams for fifth and eighth grades.

The exams will be held from March 13 to 18 for both fifth and eighth grade students. This annual exam will be held for all the government, aided and unaided schools that follow state syllabus.

For fifth grade first language exam will be held on March 15, Maths on March 16, environment studies on March 17 and second language on March 18.

For eighth graders first language examination will be on March 13, second language on March 14, third language on March 15, core language (maths) on March 16, science on March 17 and social science on March 18.

The exams will be held for maximum of 40 marks. Viva will be held from March 6 to 10. Evaluation of answer papers will be held from March 21 to 28. Results will be declared between April 8 and 10.

The exam duration will be two hours. Board said that first language English (NCERT) and third language Hindi (NCERT) will be applicable only for students of eighth standard studying in Adarsha schools.
