Udupi, Feb 25: Professor Arthur Benjamin, international celebrity and TED speaker of repute, is coming for the first time to MIT- Manipal to mesmerize his audience with mathematical mystery and beauty. The event is planned at MIT quadrangle at 4 pm on March 3.

The mathemagician, as he is fondly called, will also launch a unique BTech (Mathematics & Computing) programme designed and developed by the Mathematics department at MIT through extensive consultation with the industries such as Infosys, Manipal dot.net, Capgemini (UK) etc.

The programme is aimed to meet the contemporary needs of the industry in computing, as well as to give an early orientation to the students towards the much needed research skills.
