Govt offices in Bantwal extend support for indefinite protests

Bantwal, Mar 1: All the government offices in Bantwal held strike following calls for indefinite protests by Karnataka state government employees union on Wednesday March 1.

The state government employees remained absent for work and showed their unity. The Taluk Adalita Saudha that usually gets filled with people, council office, government hospital and registration office had nobody in them. People faced hardship due to non-availability of government services. Some people who did not know about the protests were seen returning after going to the offices.

The strike was called off by the union later.
