Mangaluru, Mar 2: Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) state committee member Riaz Kadambu addressed a protest on Thursday in front of Ullal municipal council office against corruption and the lack of basic necessities provided to the people. Kadambu stated that the municipal council has been involved in corruption by constructing multi-storey buildings and receiving income from rented shops.

Kadambu also warned that SDPI is capable of removing those in power, including MLA Khader, who has allegedly provided funds only to his party members and engaged in revengeful politics against SDPI and JDS municipal council members. SDPI will hold protests in front of the MLA’s residence if this behavior continues, he added.

SDPI Ullal municipal council president A R Abbas, vice president Imtiaz Kotepura, block committee member Shoib Ullal, Muslim Okkoota president Ismael, municipal council members Zarina Banu, Khamarunnisa Nizam, Rameez, Shainaz Akram, Rukhya, Iqbal, and others were present during the protest.
