Mangaluru, Mar 8: The management of Ullal Darga was handed over on Wednesday March 8. District Wakf officer Sayyed Mohazu Pasha and district Wakf advisory committee president Abdul Nasir Luckystar directed treasurer U K Ilyas and members to hand over the charge. However U K Ilyas requested for a month’s notice period to hand over the accounts alleging that Wakf board has not issued a notice.

The new committee should not ask for accounts of the Darga but should conduct the administration. The new committee will be active from today. The committee that was in authority so far will be out of power after this”, he said.

Hanif Haji who took over charge as the new president said that the authority will be with them after 5 pm today. “There is a month’s period for the previous administration to submit accounts and documents. Issues if any should be brought to the notice of the officers,” he said.

Ashraf Right Way took over charge as vice president, Shihabuddin Sakhafi as the chief secretary and Nazim Kotepura took over charge as the treasurer. The new committee held Darga Ziarath and shared their joy.
